With manufacturing facilities located in Peace Dale and Alton Rhode Island, USA, Charbert has been producing quality fabrics for over 45 years. Charbert knits, dyes and finishes wide elastic fabrics for swimwear, intimate apparel, active wear, athletic, medical and non-apparel applications.

We pride ourself on a long running safety program, which has received numerous awards from both state and federal agencies.

Here at Charbert we maintain a 100% inspection policy. Inspectors have completed an extensive training program to detect possible defects, which ensures that only first quality goods are shipped to you.

Our lab tests every order produced at Charbert. All test results are reviewed before any lot is released for shipment. Results are then filed away with a representative cut from each lot for future reference if needed. Our lab is equipped to perform any test requires in apparel industry.

In addtion, our process control department developed standard operation procedures for all styles we produce. Once established, regular checks are performed to ensure fabrics are running according to spec.

Our development department is up to date on the newest technologies and fashion concepts to aid any customer with their specific product needs. We work closely with vendors to provide our customers to keep them ahead of the fashion curve.
